A Note Before You Read
If you’re new here, there’s something I want you to know before you wander too far into these pages. Everything I share here comes from the compost of my own lived experience. My healing, my lessons, my stumbling, my remembering, and my growth. And plenty of things I am still figuring out as I go.
I don’t write from the mountaintop, looking back at something I’ve completely mastered. More often, I’m writing from somewhere along the spiral, noticing something I’ve seen before from a different vantage point, asking a new question, or finally finding words for something I’ve been feeling for years.
That distinction matters to me because these words are not prescriptions. They are not rules about what you should or shouldn’t do. They are not a roadmap for how to heal, how to awaken, how to have a relationship, how to navigate grief, or how to be a human being.
They are invitations. Invitations to pause. To feel. To reflect. To get curious. To consider your own journey.
Sometimes I’ll share something that lands deeply for you. You may find yourself nodding along, laughing, crying, or thinking, Holy shit. I thought I was the only one. Maybe it gives language to something you’ve been feeling. Maybe it opens a door you hadn’t noticed before. Maybe it reminds you of something you already knew but had temporarily forgotten.
And sometimes what I share won’t resonate with you at all. That’s okay too. You don’t have to make it fit. You don’t have to agree with me. You don’t have to adopt my perspective as your own. You can simply set it aside with love. It may not be yours, or it may simply not be for you in this now moment.
I’m Not Here to Be Your Guru
One of the threads woven through everything I do is the belief that your wisdom does not live outside of you. I can share what I’ve experienced. I can tell you what I’ve learned. I can offer questions, stories, frequencies, practices, and perspectives. But ultimately, you are your own healer.
My desire has never been to tell you how to live your life. I would much rather walk alongside you while you remember how to listen to yourself.
The stories, reflections, and teachings I offer here come from the spiral path I’ve walked and am still walking. Some come from beautiful moments of expansion. Others have been pulled directly from the muck. Relationships, grief, joy, anger, spirituality, play, desire, healing, becoming, unbecoming, starting over, letting go, and remembering who I am underneath all the things I thought I was supposed to be.
That’s the compost. And somehow, again and again, something grows from it.
So I bring those pieces here with an open heart in case something I’ve lived helps you see something in your own life a little differently. Not because my truth needs to become yours, but because sometimes witnessing another person tell the truth about their experience gives us permission to become more curious about our own.
Bring All of Yourself
This is a space for thinking and feeling. For questioning and knowing. For grief and ridiculous laughter. For the sacred and the incredibly ordinary. For the part of you who feels deeply connected to Spirit and the part of you who occasionally wonders what the hell is happening.
You don’t have to arrive here polished, healed, enlightened, high-vibe, or certain. You get to bring all of yourself.
Because I’m far more interested in honoring the fullness of our humanity than pretending we can transcend it. I don’t believe our humanness is something we came here to escape. I think there is something sacred in allowing ourselves to actually experience it.
Maybe that’s really what this blog is about. Remembering ourselves beneath the noise. Remembering our own knowing. Remembering that being human was never something we were supposed to overcome. And remembering that none of us has to walk this beautiful, messy becomingness completely alone.
So if you’re new here, welcome. Wander around. Take what resonates. Question what doesn’t. Follow whatever makes something inside you whisper, there. And leave the rest.
I’ll be here, somewhere along the spiral too.
Huge hugs & divine love,
Morgan
